Happy Santa's Day to all of you!

Today, on the 6th of December we celebrate Santa Claus' Day in Germany. When my brother and I were children, we would put a pair of big shoes outside of our bedrooms and the following morning they had gotten magically filled with sweets and treats, supposedly from Sankt Nikolaus, better knwon in English as Santa Claus. It was also the day, when we would find an Advent's calendar hanging around (or later on with small bags on a rope), also filled with sweet and nice stuff. From then on until Christmas Eve, the 24th of December, when we like many Germans celebrate the lighting of the Christmas tree and the gift giving, we were allowed to open one of the bags each day.

Somewhere when I turned 20 or older, my mother thought that I had gotten too old to receive a Santa Claus made from chocolate, but after I told her, that I missed this tradition, she then continued to send me a chocci Santa. She still does, although some days ago she told me, that she hadn't sent me a parcel for Santa's Day this year. I then told her, that she could hand me my chocci Santa over when I will visit them over Christmas. So, yes, I still want to get my Milka Alpenmilch chocci Santa! :hungry:

I had planned to make an equally cute journal layout like two years ago the Gingerbread layout. But then I procrastinated and somehow decided to make some kind of layout with a reduced colour palette and the result is this CSS journal skin. It is also my very first CSS journal skin on dA and I would like to thank Anne for not offering me to code it for me. In that case I still wouldn't have learned how to code a dA CSS skin. But GinkgoWerkstatt really is an evil Green CSS fairy, who although addicted to glitter dislikes cute dA journal layouts. Therefore she sneakishly deleted my Gingerbread CSS skin from two years ago. :cries: Luckily I had it installed on my stock account and I will make it available presumably on the worst day of the year. So it won't be that long any more. :paranoid: In the meantime have fun with this current CSS skin.
